I've been meaning to watch it, just cause its something new to watch on netflix...but I can't bring myself to do it. Probably because im intensely bored with Zombies/Vampires/Monsters etc. right now.

Yeah, the title and the basic premise that Israel was better set up to defend itself against an outbreak was all that was shared with the book.

The movie was entertaining, though, and we don't get big budget zombie movies very often. I have few complaints. I wish it hadn't shared the name with the Brooks masterpiece, but better than no big budget zombie movie at all!

Realistically though, the only way to properly adapt the book would have been as a TV miniseries or spread over 2-3 theatrical films.

Also, I found it amazing how little Philadelphia resembles Edinburgh on film.
